Make Memories

My santa baby

My Santa Baby.
The metal sheet was dry embossed using a free santa clipart I found.
I cut slits on the cardstock and wove through a black strip cardstock and attached a ribbon buckle to imitate santa's belt.
"Santa" word was a chipboard dressed up with the Ice and iridescent glitters.

Shaker box page

Yup! the whole page was a shaker box.

Some of the reasons why i love to be your mom

This is a hybrid page, combined digital and traditional scrapbooking.
Used simple fibers and brads.
The black cardstock was dressed up by using the sticky mesh as stencil then patted a white stamp pad directly to paper.

Mother the sweetest word

Paper piecing to create the magnifying glass with the circle cutter and aluminum tape as well as transparency.
Used the page of the dictionary in the meaning of mother section, photocopied one as regular size and another another one was zoomed to 150% size then distressed.
The tiled monogram "M" was a chipboard placed on top of cardstock. Layered upon layered with embossing ink and powder.

Feb 2009- Ros' Valentine's party favor.

Ros and Shantelle were putting the favors inside the boxes while sneaking behind my back some chocolates too... lol...
Boxes were created with Cricut tags, bags, and more cartridge and cricut design studio to cut the inner heart.

I adhered the transparency film in the heart-opening before assembling the box. I like that they can peek thru on what's inside the box.
The vase? oh! just filled it up with kisses and lindt chocolates (my very fave choc!!!) then put some other stuff like that cookie from hallmark etc. etc.

My Friend's Wedding

Magazine Entry for Hobby Lobby
Table number holder

The table no was embossed with Swiss dots cuttlebug folder fastened by the corner punched - black cardstock.

The holder was made with a styro ball - secured on the top of the bare wooden mini candle holder which I found at Michael's and Hobby Lobby, spray-painted with black and a little splash of the pearlescent powder) Then detailed with tiny layered ivory cardstock and vellum flowers (which were cut with my bff - cricut) . I used the pearl pinheads that served double purpose - to secure and to add a little classy feel ( I think!)

Baby Shower invitation

I made this brown and pink Baby shower invitation for our friend, am glad that they all liked it. Although i have a Cricut new arrival cartridge I still decided not use the baby stuff in there-just yet! coz it's just new to me! I would love to do it in the future once I get the hang of it... The very first thing that came my mind was a circle card, and that will fit to a CD sleeves and so i decided to work with a circle and from there I thought of the rests of the details that will make a unique ones-hopefully I did it!

Card itself was made with cricut design studio and cricut new arrival cartridge circle, the one that have a ready made holes for threading ribbons etc. Embossing was made with the circle cuttlebug folder, after I cut the card. The keychain that's hanging in front was made by ms office powerpoint (coz office is the easiest tool for me as of now still working my way to learn about adobe or other softwares) - I printed it to the shrink films, punched hole then bake then voila! instant thin clay-baked-like texture and weight, then attached it to a store bought snake keychain rings.

Texts inside was created with msoffice word including the pink and brown polka dots. I made a negative circles from the 12 x 12 cardstock, and aligned the papers at the back so i can cut 4 at a time.I could have used my other handheld tools but cricut is just the fastest way to go.

The envelopes were just a store bought CD sleeves that I was able to print with my MSWord by just setting up the margins and sizes.

Your comment will be greatly appreciated.

Live your life, wih an expression of gratitude

Thank you very much DIY Scrapbooking
Thanks also for the HP freebies for the digital images such as these.

The heart was made with the red microbeads that was secured with the tackiest tape ever... and outlined with that keychain stuff, which i forgot the name of it. The frame around the picture was embossed with the gold embossing powder right after printing on the vellum paper then was fastened with eyelets to a wine red cardstock. Of course the journalling was my original composition.

Trick or treat 2008

Trick or treat 2008. First time the kids were able to do it. Blame it to the parents that are not used to the new cultures such as this. But hey! we did it already, and glad we really did, because the kids just loved it so much. Looking forward for the next year's.
I think i waited for a month or two to do the page so i can purchase the embellishments in a cheaper price, and it worked.... i got plenty left for 2009. lol.
My cricut was new then so all i did was cut small random sizes of circles around the black cardstock and place an orange cardstock underneath, Pumpkin color inspired. right?

Bee my honey

A very popular title being used...

I made the page year 2005, our 11th year anniversary, with a limited supplies that I can only afford back then.

I used embossing ink and black embossing powder to raise the stamped bee images. The beehive was made with paper piecing and outlined with mizuhiki cord.
Of course being a homemaker that time, i got the ideas about the materials to be used by watching scrapbooking shows. Thanks to them.

Beary Cute

My daughter's first Christmas, surrounded with bear stuff toy.

I got this cute embossed bear paper and cut out some of it and placed on top of the similar ones to make it 3dimensional.
